NetPeeker is a network tool set that combines the functionality of traffic monitoring with the blocking features of a personal firewall. It allows you to monitor which programs are using your Internet connection and optionally block selected connections or the entire application. Furthermore, the personal firewall allows you to create flexible rules to allow/block traffic, and comes with a ready-to-use set of common spyware blocking rules. NetPeeker can also throttle bandwidth usage for selected applications or IP addresses, and maintains a detailed log for all connections and actions. If you are interested in the details of each connection, you can enable data capture, and the program will capture all network traffic, so it can be reviewed later. You can use rule to limit the capture to certain application, ports, protocols or times.
